Papua New Guinea Customs is the national frontline against the smuggling of illegal drugs and other prohibited and restricted goods.
Customs has discovered large amount of illegal drugs in cargo, accompanied baggage and on passengers themselves.
We realise that only a small proportion of industry and travellers actually violate the law, but at times we will examine cargo, travellers baggage and/or carry out personal searches to ensure compliance with the Customs Act.
