Papua New Guinea Customs is an operating Division of the Internal Revenue Commission of Papua New Guinea. Customs has a staff of some 240 officers employed at various Customs seaports, airports, land border crossing ports and post offices around the country. Customs Headquarters is located in the heart of Papua New Guinea’s Capital City, Port Moresby, next to the main wharf.
The Internal Revenue Commission, including Customs, is located within the Treasury Department and reports to the Minister responsible for that portfolio, the Treasurer the Rt. Honourable Sir Rabbie Namaliu.
